Happy holidays everybody. Stich has made it through another year (6 years and counting). We would just like to thank everyone for the support, not only for this past year, but for all the years. Their were times when we really needed you, and you came through, so thank you. 2007 will be yet another fun-filled roller coaster year, with hopefully some big announcements as well. So be safe this holiday season and we will see you next year…
As many of you may know, Stich did not move on to the semi-final round of the bodog battle of the bands. We had a good run though and greatly appreciate the support from all who came out on a Monday night. We have moved on and are looking forward to the next several months and what they have in store for us.
Stich has a couple shows coming up as well. We will be playing the Brotherhood of the bands show on December 3rd at Wyatt’s Torch, a tribute to i-October and their awesome display of integrity and loyalty to our musical culture at their bodog show. Then on December 7th at Hubbas, we have a HUGE show as Stich opens up for Hed P.E.!!!. This show is probably going to sell-out and fast, so make sure to get your tickets in advance at Hubbas or call Douglas at 720-284-4033.
Only 11 more days to get tickets to the 3rd (of 5) round Bodog Battle of the Bands!!! We are in the Trenches and we need all the help we can get to make this possible, so whether your a loyal O.G. We have been updated with our round 3 show of the Bodog battle of the bands. If you are new to the Stich community, Stich has entered the bodog battle of the bands, with the winner gaining a record contract worth a $1,000,000! Stich came #1 in the round 1 online voting and then #1 again in our round 2 live show. So yet again we need your help, our Moshpit Victims, to come through for us and to keep our #1 steak alive. Stich needs your help. KBPI is putting on a contest to find the best band in Denver. The first stage of this is an online voting contest which starts at the first of September or so. You all came through for Stich big with the Bodog online voting, so we know you will do it again and make Stich #1. You’re a (moshpit) victim of your own success!! Anyway, all you need to do is go to www.kbpi.com and sign up to become an all access member. After that, it is just a matter of voting for your favorite band (hopefully Stich). You can see all the bands that have signed up so far and listen to one song of their’s by clicking on the “Best Band in Denver” image link on kbpi.com’s front page. We are preparing for our first road trip! Stich will be playing tomorrow night (Saturday) in Salt Lake City, Utah @ Club Vegas. So if you or anyone you know is from around that area or feel like going on a little trek (as some of the diehard Stich fans are doing), come out and party with us, its guaranteed fun (hopefully none of us get arrested).
Thanks to all who came out last night to Wyatt’s Torch. Its a huge improvement to the once was Bottoms Up. It is a great place to hear live music. Hope everyone had a good time, becuase as always, we did. Big thanks to Nemesys and Kontraku for bringing the place down with us. Check these bands out, they are worth your time. For all of you that missed out, you have a chance to redeem yourself at our big event next Monday at the BlueBird. We need everyone to come out and show their support for us. We will be giving out our 2006 demo (possibly mastered by then) and Stich stickers. so PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, make it out to the BlueBird next Monday, July 24th. Thanks to everyone that came out last night to the BlueBird. We knew we had amazing fans and it showed . Stich came in first place, moving on to round two of the Bodog Battle of the Bands!!!
